Symphonic dances and other catchy tunes
This evening, the Artistic Director of the Festival Spring Alexei Gerassimez, Danae and Kiveli Dörken and Emil Kuyumcuyan invite you to a musical firework display with inspiring rhythms in the Marstall in Putbus. In addition to a work by Gerassimez himself, the program includes pieces by Béla Bartók, Sergei Rachmaninov and Leonard Bernstein. A rousing musical mixture that promises high spirits and exuberance - catchy tunes are guaranteed. Bernstein's symphonic dances from "West Side Story" will be performed in a version by the late Peter Sadlo, with whom Gerassimez studied at the Hochschule in Munich and to whom he was not only a student but also a friend.
