The Pasternack Trio will perform on August 6 and again on November 8 at the Kunsthalle Kühlungsborn and will get the audience dancing.
Concert with the Pasternack Swing Trio
The saxophonist, singer and presenter Andreas Pasternack has built up a steadily growing fan base over the years, which now extends beyond the borders of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. He leads his own big band, has won a cultural award from the Hanseatic city of Rostock, has performed with various ensembles in Poland, Japan, Belgium and the USA and hosts a weekly radio show on NDR 1 Radio MV. With his humorous and charming stage presence, the gifted entertainer is reminiscent of Frank Sinatra.
The cult jazzer Andreas Pasternack is accompanied by two other fantastic musicians: Enrique Marcano Gonzáles and Christian Ahnsehl. Enrique Marcano Gonzáles, born in Caracas/Venezuela, completed his jazz studies at the ARS NOVA in Venezuela at the age of just 17. He has lived in Germany since 1991 and completed various music courses in Frankfurt am Main, Mannheim/Heidelberg and Rostock. He has been working as a freelance musician and lecturer since 1999. He has already played with various musicians such as Günther Fischer, Ernst "Lutten" Petrowsky, Jacqueline Boulanger, Dirk Zöllner, Thomas Putensen, Wolfgang "Zicke" Schneider and Michael Hornstein.
Christian Ahnsehl learned to play the guitar at the Rostock Conservatory. He has taken part in various productions at the Volkstheater Rostock and the Mecklenburg-Schwerin State Theatre, worked as a studio musician for the record company Edel-Records, among others, and has been Andreas Pasternack's musical accompanist for many years.
Together they delight the audience with a fascinating and varied mixture of the most beautiful jazz standards of all time, which offer scope for creativity and improvisation, their own arrangements of popular oldies and their own songs. The excellent and passionately played music invites you to sing, snap and dance along.
