I work in the fine arts both in painting and sculpture (bronze sculptures). The theoretical knowledge I acquired by attending several courses at art academies in the country and abroad.
I have in the time of my artistic activity far more than 200 paintings u. ca. 200 sculptures created from bronze.
Part of them can still be seen in my studio / gallery. I found only with approx. 50 years in Rome by a meeting with the sculptor Moll, thus by a coincidence the entrance to the fine arts and have since then this range theoretically and also practically with contents provided. In painting, I deal in addition to landscape painting intensively with the representation of wildlife and other animals. But also with portrait painting, because in this area I have also participated in special seminars. In sculpture, the human as well as the animal world plays a major role. My preference for this stems from the fact that I grew up on a forestry farm and I also hunted for many years. So there are already some large projects in public space, such as the bronze sculpture "The handbell player" in Dabel in front of the church or the "migratory birds" (6 cranes) in the estate park of Wamkow. In the town of Bad Wurzbach in Allgäu hangs a large wall bronze sculpture of the honorary citizen of the city of Senator Schiedel. In 1914 I delivered a life-size roebuck to the Sauerland in North Rhine-Westphalia. For about 20 years I have been a lecturer in the field of fine arts at the adult education center of the district of Ludwigslust-Parchim, I also conduct courses for interested residents in my studio.
