Painting performance with music and poetry at the Eldena monastery ruins with artist Xianwei Zhu (Stuttgart/Krefeld) and poet Tobias Reußwig (Greifswald)
The Chinese artist Xianwei Zhu is known for his landscape paintings inspired by Caspar David Friedrich. Following his successful exhibition at the Caspar David Friedrich Center at the beginning of the year, we are looking forward to seeing him again at his place of inspiration: the Eldena monastery ruins. Together with the Greifswald poet Tobias Reußwig, Zhu will create a live ink drawing accompanied by music. Meanwhile, Tobias Reußwig will recite his poetry inspired by Han Shan's poems. Far Eastern poetry of the 7th and 8th centuries will meet contemporary poetry and the art of Romanticism will meet Xianwei Zhu's contemporary art. This event is part of the anniversary program "Romanticism today?" of the Künstlerhaus Lukas Ahrenshoop and the anniversary program of the Caspar-David-Friedrich-Zentrum .
