On 11.06.2025 Dr. Alexander Warnke, theologian, cantor and organist, will play works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Josef Gabriel Rheinberger and Sigfrid Karg-Elert. Ticket 10,00 € , reduced 7,00 €
Johann Sebastian Bach (1685/1750) is undisputedly the most important composer.
Josef Gabriel Rheinberger's diverse works, ranging from piano music to sacred and secular choral music, symphonies, operas and, of course, organ compositions, can be attributed to the end of the classical-romantic era.
Sigfrid Karg-Elert (1877/1933) created the most extensive and important catalog of harmonium music and worked as a pianist, organist, music teacher and composer. His late romantic compositions have impressionist and expressionist influences.
Alexander Warnke presents a multi-layered program on the Buchholz organ in St. Nikolai.
