A program for globetrotters
Stroll along the harbor in Buenos Aires with Piazolla, revel in romantic landscapes with Rachmaninov, dance through Paris with Gershwin and stop off on a balcony in Seville with Rossini: This year's orchestral concert at the Festspielfrühling Rügen offers a program for globetrotters. It will take you on a musical journey across Europe, including a detour across the ocean. The Neubrandenburg Philharmonic Orchestra and its chief conductor Daniel Geiss, together with Festival Prize winner Alexei Gerassimez, his three percussion colleagues and other Festival Spring soloists, present well-known and always rousing works from across musical history. But there will also be plenty of contemporary music: the program also includes "Piazonore", a composition by this year's Artistic Director of the Festival Spring himself.
