Book discussion and more in the city library
After two very successful events, fans are waiting for the 3rd edition of "Aufgeblättert". On January 20, the show starts at 7 pm. The trio of Moni Mück, Helmut Holzapfel and Uta Mach will of course be there again. The 4th perspective on Petra Pellini's book: Bademeister ohne Himmel will be presented by Ingolf Holst. He is the youngest member of the town council in Wismar and is also one of the youngest city guides in his home town. "I'm delighted to have been invited and will certainly be able to bring my youth into the discussion, as the main character Linda is only 15," says the trainee administrative assistant in Schwerin. What the book is about, however, will not be revealed. You don't need to know the book to attend the event.
So that it doesn't become too one-sided, everyone will also briefly present other current books that are worth reading and books that are worth rediscovering. There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion with the audience.
When asked: "What appeals to you about this format?", Moni Mück answers: "I find the exchange with people exciting and am very open to discussion. I love the medium of books. With 'Aufgeblättert', I can pursue these inclinations." "Ultimately, we hope that this will also encourage people to read," says Helmut Holzapfel.
