Hits & Popular Music, Theatre & Stage

A colorful mixture of music, memories and anecdotes.

On the occasion of the recent death of Roger Whittaker, which deeply affected the German music world, this show program was conceived as a tribute to the great singer and world star with one of his closest friends. "An Evening for Roger Whittaker" not only features the great hits (including "Albany", "Ein bisschen Aroma", "Abschied ist ein scharfes Schwert", "Wenn es dich noch gibt" or "Eloisa") back to the big stage, but also gives exclusive insights into who the person behind the successful world star was. A colorful mixture of music, memories and anecdotes. The host and singer is none other than Wolf Junghannß, who is known and loved throughout Europe as the "German Roger Whittaker" and is a welcome guest on radio and television. Roger Whittaker himself once claimed that Wolf Junghannß sings better than him and has the same voice/look. The two had a deep and long-standing friendship! Enjoy a two-hour, atmospheric and varied show program full of memories and hits that will always keep Roger Whittaker in the hearts of pop and music fans!
