Exhibition with paintings by Anna Moroz from Dresden.
An exhibition in the Kleine Interkulturelle Galerie (Waldemarstr. 32, 18057 Rostock) by migra e.V. in cooperation with the Konrad-Adenauer-Striftung Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Opening on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 3 p.m. in the presence of the artist Anna Moroz, Dr. Silke Bremer, State Commissioner and Head of the Political Education Forum Mecklenburg-Vorpommern of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the board of migra e.V. Constanza Martínez will accompany the exhibition opening on the violin.
Anna Moroz is an artist who was born in Russia and whose life is characterized by constant movement and wandering. Born in the former Soviet Union and raised in Ukraine, she studied art education at Murmansk State University (Russia), practiced media art in Norway for a year and studied environmental and community art at the University of Lapland.
She understands art in its deeper nature as a living and multi-layered dialog and invites visitors to break through the boundaries between artist, artwork and viewer and to rediscover the deep, timeless connection between us and art: "A work of art that lingers alone in a silent space may bear witness to its beauty, but it remains silent. Only through the exchange with the viewer does it come alive, does it become the bearer of stories that reach beyond the artist's intention and at the same time are rooted in it."
Anna Moroz lives in Dresden, works as a painter and exhibits her works nationally and internationally.
The exhibition can be visited free of charge from May 12 to August 29, 2025 at the following times: Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9am-12pm & 1pm-4pm, Tuesdays 1pm-4pm and Fridays 9am-12pm as well as by appointment.
