Jazz by the sea
The Omer Klein Trio celebrated its tenth anniversary last year. To mark the occasion, the ensemble has released its current program on CD under the title "Life and Fire", which is also the focus of this evening. Omer Klein can rightly be regarded as one of Germany's greatest jazz musicians. Together with his trio or as a jazz pianist with other artists, he is a regular guest at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival. Klein's music inspires with its lightness, he casually takes inspiration from the most diverse musical directions and combines these influences to create new and groundbreaking jazz music.
