The duo Octavio Barattucci & Estela del Mar have already delighted audiences in Waren with their Tango Argentino Project. Now, in addition to tango, they also present their own songs, whose musical diversity draws on Latin American rhythms such as milonga, samba, candombe and chamamé. Octavio Barattucci tells stories in his songs, portrays the people of his Argentinian homeland and spans the arc from historical events to the present day. He skillfully interweaves elements of jazz, bossa nova, rock and pop with the folkloric music of Argentina. Estela del Mar complements the performance with her voice, violin and percussion, giving the pieces even more depth and dynamism.
