The Night of the Libraries will take place on Friday, 04.04.2025. For the official opening event of our federal state the Schwaan City Library in the multi-generation house was selected. Under the motto "Knowledge.Share.Discover." there will be a varied program in the Campus der Generations there will be a varied program.

The Night of the Libraries will take place on Friday, 04.04.2025.
For the official opening event of our federal state
the Schwaan City Library in the multi-generation house was selected.
Under the motto "Knowledge.Share.Discover." there will be a varied program in the Campus of Generations.
Admission is from 5 pm. Before the program starts on stage, you can design your own T-shirt or make a pendant. At 6 pm, science journalist Joachim Hecker will perform his entertaining and educational science show in the large hall of the multi-generational house. After the show, journalist and author Joachim Hecker will sign his book on stage.

Please note that all participants must be in possession of an admission ticket.
Following the stage program, the library will be open from 7 - 9 pm.
There will be quizzes with "Kuti" at individual stations in the building, Bee-Bot and Blue-Bot can be programmed or viewed through VR glasses.
Books will be presented on a "reading island" in the library.
Listeners young and old can listen to the stories and browse the shelves themselves with a flashlight.
