43 years ago, at the age of just 17, Nicole won the Eurovision Song Contest for Germany with "Ein bisschen Frieden" and this brought Nicole sales in the millions and top rankings throughout Europe.
In the four decades that have passed since this first sensational success of the Euro Gold single, two dozen more longplayers have followed, for which she has won 11 Golden Tuning Forks and 17 times first place in the ZDF Hit Parade. Her second place at the World Popular Song Festival in Tokyo (1983) was followed by an ECHO - Pop in the nineties, several Goldene Europa awards, the smago! Award in 2017 and the Hans Rosenthal Prize for her social commitment in 2023.
