with the Kammersymphonie Berlin
The Kammersymphonie Berlin celebrates the turn of the year with an international program. Under the direction of up-and-coming conductor Oleh Kurochkin, the concert spans an exciting arc: From the Nordic, yearning sounds of Edvard Grieg to the romantic violin concerto by Felix Mendelssohn to Armenian songs and Spanish dances. There are also ludicrous pieces of music from the Carpathians, which captivate with surprising twists and turns, and pulsating rhythms by the composer Astor Piazzolla. New discoveries are guaranteed, catchy tunes are not excluded - there is hardly a more atmospheric way to start the new year!
