Under the direction of 1st conductor Eduardo Browne Salinas North German Philharmonic Orchestra Rostock
The Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock will start the New Year 2025 in a festive and pompous manner, traversing Europe from Tsarist Russia to the French metropolis of Paris at the beginning of the 20th century.
The young Chilean conductor Eduardo Browne Salinas, 1st Kapellmeister at the Volkstheater Rostock, will wield the baton and lead through the exciting program of the large orchestra, which will present the overture to Ruslan and Ludmilla and a waltz fantasy by Mikhail Glinka, music by Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel and, as the crowning finale, Modest Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition in the orchestral version by Maurice Ravel.
