On 19 September, the photo exhibition "MEER in Sicht - Die Modernisierung im Fokus" opens in the renovated special exhibition room at the MEERESMUSEUM site.
During the renovation phase at the MEERESMUSEUM, which lasted almost four years, photographer Anke Neumeister, who works at the German Maritime Museum, documented the work close to the action and captured many a moving, bizarre and irretrievable situation with her eye for detail.
A selection of these moments will be presented in the photo exhibition entitled "MEER in Sicht - Die Modernisierung im Fokus" from 19 September in the renovated special exhibition room at the MEERESMUSEUM location. 19 large-format motifs with amusing titles, e.g. "Taken for the finishing touches", show modernization from unusual angles.
Admission is free with a valid museum ticket.
