Nationwide reading competition / Regional decision Nordvorpommern
Once again, many thousands of schoolchildren read along and shared in the excitement of the nationwide reading competition. The best 6th grade readers from our region of Nordvorpommern will showcase their talent on the stage of the Damgarten library. The audience can look forward to seeing which new books the young readers will present and how they will convince the jury of their reading skills. The winner will qualify for the next round of the state competition in Schwerin. The nationwide reading competition of the German Book Trade is held under the patronage of the Federal President and is one of the largest nationwide school competitions. Around 600,000 pupils take part every year.
A joint event organized by the city library and the Wossidlo bookshop. The nationwide reading competition is a reading promotion campaign of the German Publishers and Booksellers Association.
