A large number of mushrooms of various species grow on living and dead wood, e.g. hallimash and stick sponges, but also porcini mushrooms such as the tinder fungus and mushrooms in winter, e.g. oyster mushrooms. Very interesting are stubble mushrooms and spiny mushrooms. The latter genus includes both mushrooms that grow on wood and those that do not require wood.
Whether your motivation is to increase your own knowledge or to pass on mushroom knowledge to children, friends or groups, this course in the Steinmühle Youth Forest Home, in the middle of the Müritz National Park, very close to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Ancient Beech Forests of Serrahn, will enrich you.
