Concert Yaron Deutsch
Yaron Deutsch (*1978) is an electric guitarist who is mainly known for his work in the field of contemporary (classical) music. He is the founder and artistic director of the chamber quartet Nikel and a frequent guest with the best European ensembles and orchestras dedicated to contemporary music.
He has performed as a soloist with the Israeli Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Luxembourg Philharmonic, the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, the Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai (Turin), the SWR Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra; He has played under the conductors Sylvain Camberling, Titus Engel, Peter Eötvös, Zubin Mehta, Emilio Pomàrico, Peter Rundel and Ilan Volkov, to name but a few.
In addition to his performing activities, he is a professor at the FHNW School of Music/Sonic Space Basel and an electric guitar lecturer at the Darmstadt International Summer Courses. He also curates the international festival for contemporary chamber music in Tel Aviv "Tzlil Meudcan" (in Hebrew: "Updated Sound").
