Regional bands from many genres
MV can only be conservative and radical? Not at all!
Stralsund is a colorful, diverse city and we want to show that. That's why the Blechwerk stage is hosting the "Mucke für Toleranz" event on October 12, a musical evening with bands from the region! From hip hop from Rostock (ESCO) and rock from Rügen (Steel Water Ink) to ska from Greifswald (Krach!), groups from a wide range of genres will be represented. Because tolerance also means supporting diversity, true to the motto: tastes are different and that's a good thing. So there is something for everyone and perhaps something new to discover for some.
In addition to the musical program, the event also serves as a stage for associations and projects from Stralsund and the surrounding area that are committed to an open and tolerant community. Many people work on a voluntary basis to promote and maintain the diversity of our society. We therefore want to give these people a stage to exchange ideas with each other, but also to meet new people and get into conversation.
Together, we want to show that there is another way to work than with hate and agitation against each other and offer people a space to meet, dance and celebrate together. So if you are interested in showing how much joy there is in this city and are looking for a way to escape the expected dreary fall blues, you are very welcome!
Our line-up for this evening:
- Esco (Hip Hop from Rostock)
- KRACH (Ska from Greifswald)
- Steelwater Ink (Rock from Rügen)
- Fette Elke (dancing in the smallest dance club)
