The boundaries between dance and theater merge and stories from ancient mythology are reinterpreted.
This year's movement project is based on the ancient work "The Bacchae" by Euripides. The project combines dance, drama and percussion - expressive movements, powerful images and rhythmic sounds - in a collective work together with the music department and the drama teacher training course. The production is based on the story of the god of intoxication Dionysus and his eponymous followers, the Bacchae. Ecstasy, freedom and the power of nature are at the heart of the performance. The boundaries between dance and theater merge and stories from ancient mythology are reinterpreted. | Acting students of the 6th semester | Rehearsal: Laura Witzleben | Musical direction: Prof. Benjamin Köthe | Admission: €15.00 (reduced €10.00) plus box office surcharge, Kulturticket
