Moonlight tour
Our moonlight tour starts in the evening hours and takes you through the Rostock city harbor for two hours. We paddle together into the sunset and can experience Rostock's unique city view in the evening light from the water in clear weather! Enjoy the tranquility on the water in single and double kayaks and get to know Rostock and its stories from the water! Depending on the size of the group and wind conditions, the tour runs from the Vorpommern Bridge to the Werftdreieck and back again. You paddle at your own pace. At prominent places the group gathers and you learn interesting facts about the old Hanseatic city. For example, did you know where the name "Rostock" comes from and what it means? Or what meaning the city harbor had in socialist times? These questions and many more we will "paddle" with you! Before the start of each trip there is a crash course in paddling and safety. Only then do we go out on the water. Life jackets and spray blankets are part of the equipment.
Meeting point is at the end of the Haargraben near the Vorpommern bridge next to the dock of the water sports club "Hanseat". It is easy to reach by car as well as by streetcar. From the streetcar stops "Gerberbruch" or "Stadthafen" it is only about 300 meters to walk. If you come by car, you can park in the parking lot below the Petrikirche. From there it is about 200 meters to the location.
