The cybernetic theater spectacle based on a classic of world literature!
A theater bus in the double role of "whaling ship" and "Moby Dick"! A square is transformed into an excited harbor turmoil. A bus mutates into a whaling ship. Scrap metal, people and music are used to create an enchantingly brutal world at sea that invites us to travel along and peer into the abysses of humanity.
The novel Moby Dick is reimagined and played with powerful imagery, until the spectacle departs again, leaving people with spray in their hair.
"We interpret Melville's work as a tale of greed and exploitation.
We look for the brutality of insatiable greed for raw materials and exploitation in the material metal. Boats made of scrap metal, crowbars and a shower of sparks as an archaic battle against the forces of nature. An extremely visually powerful theater that absorbs the audience with live music and cybernetic stage design and makes the (village) square sway." Free Stage Wendland
