Pasticcio by Daniel Valero and Joseph Feigl
Due to the death of "Il Padrino", the entire Italian family comes together to organize a funeral for him. But the gathering turns out to be surprisingly different. They learn that Padrino is leaving his entire fortune to his only daughter on condition that she marries at midnight on the same day. To avoid losing generations of wealth, the family tries to find a suitable candidate for Catarina, Il Padrino's daughter. However, the potential heiress is only willing to marry as long as true love is involved.
Based on an original idea by Daniel Valero and musical arrangements by Joseph Feigl, "Mia Bella Italia" would like to take our audience on a little 'Italian vacation' with the most beautiful and famous Italian songs as well as a funny, touching story. You can be curious to see how it all ends. Will there even be a triple wedding at the end? Atmospheric songs, funny but also melancholy, accompany you through the evening performed by the opera choir of Theater und Orchester GmbH.
