An expert (Wiebke Karras) and a beginner (Markus Lehmann) compete in eliciting different characters from realistically depicted mushrooms.
Three specimens of Parasol (Lepiota procera, large umbrella mushroom), in many different positions to each other were painted in oil on canvas. They are always recognizable as these mushrooms, but changing backgrounds, proportions and shades of color make them "characters" that evoke emotions ranging from shuddering to bright laughter.
