Advent and Christmas carols from three centuries
The Landesjugendchor M-V meets for two weekends of rehearsals in Dreilützow and for a concert weekend at the JH Ribnitz-Damgarten.
During the rehearsal weekends, the new repertoire for the two concerts on the 1st Advent weekend is worked on.
The program includes classics such as "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen" and "Macht hoch die Tür" in various choral settings as well as Christmas carols from Scandinavia such as "Ave maris stella" by Edvard Grieg. The audience will also be able to sing along in between.
Admission to the concert is free, but donations to support the work of the Landesjugendchor M-V are requested.
