A varied music and cultural program for young and old
From 3 p.m., the Kulturquartier will become a stage for various musical acts, including the saxophone ensemble "Strelitzius" and the bands "not in my backyard", "Ahabs Linkes Bein" and "Rocket Men". DJ Erik Swiatloch will provide danceable beats from 9 pm.
At the same time, the Deutsche Tanzkompanie offers a varied dance program from 4.30 pm. Highlights include performances by the Deutsche Tanzkompanie ensemble at 8 p.m. as well as performances by dance groups and students.
The Kunsthaus courtyard attracts visitors from 4 pm with live music from bands such as "Big Blue Button", "letztenSommer" and "The Goo". Later in the evening, DJ Arno Funke will take over the turntables and provide an atmospheric finale.
For those interested in literature, there will be readings in the Hertelsaal of the Kunsthaus from 7 pm, where authors Martin Nicklas and Oliver Hohlfeld will present their works. A concert evening with Luise Hansen and Ramin Varzandeh under the motto "1001 Nights and a Surprise Film" will be held in the Antiquariat from 7 pm.
Family-friendly offer
Younger visitors are also catered for. For example, the ice cream store "Eis am Kreis" will be presenting the singing duo "bellle" at 5 pm. The event promises entertainment for the whole family and is complemented by numerous stalls and gastronomic offerings throughout the city center.
