In no other place on the German Baltic coast have so many authors found a place of relaxation and inspiration as in our Baltic health spa.
Famous writers such as Kästner and Fallada were fascinated by Graal and Müritz, which were still separate districts at the time. Fascinated by the beauty of the landscape and the proximity to the sea, wonderful literary memories of this time were left behind. Even Kafka spent his summer in 1923 in the Strandstraße and found here not only recreation and inspiration for his works, but also incidentally found his last great love.
Reason enough to let the literature days take place in Graal-Müritz for the eighth time and to honor these encounters and the writing that goes along with it.
