"Brecht! - A b.oppressive evening" with Hedwig Golpon and Benjamin Saupe
"What times these are when talking about trees is almost a crime." What Bertolt Brecht wrote ninety years ago rings in the ears - even or especially in our current times! The poet's texts are inspiring, powerful, thought-provoking, humorous, alarming and stirring. This evening was created in honor of the great poet and playwright of the 20th century. It is presented as part of the caricature exhibition "What a people". It shows that Brecht's view of society in texts and songs is as unerring as it is topical.
