RESONANCE
Lisa Steude's works are characterized by a sculptural presence in space and the fusion of sound and form. The relationship of people to their environment is a main theme, which she activates by means of sensory impulses to perception. Her works often invite interaction; they can usually be touched and appeal to different senses. They can then be experienced visually, acoustically, haptically and ultimately with the whole body. In this way, they create a resonance that places one's own body, mediated via the senses, in relation to the outside world.
Lisa Steude (*1990) studied at the Berlin University of the Arts under Katja Strunz and was a master student of Karsten Konrad. She has been invited to take part in various group exhibitions, including those in public spaces such as GRÜNE ZITAT and Leere | Fülle at Rondellplatz Circus in Putbus. This is the first solo exhibition of the promising artist, who lives and works in Stralsund and on the island of Rügen. The RESONANZ exhibition with sound-installation works by Rügen artist Lisa Steude will open at the same time.
The solo exhibition with paintings by Usedom painter and draughtsman Oskar Manigk will open at the same time.
