Make your own Christmas greetings cards for your friends and family using lino printing.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to print using the linocut technique. Participants will be familiarized with the materials required, including linoleum plates, special carving tools, ink rollers and printing ink. They will create their own designs, which will then be transferred to the linoleum plate. Once the design has been transferred to the linoleum sheet, the exciting part begins: the carving. This involves cutting out the areas that are not to be printed later. After carving, the plate can be printed as often as required on paper or a postcard using a printing press.
