ImproJam
Once a month, the Tanzcompagnie invites you to its studio for a colorful ImproJam.
The dancers create the evening together with regional guests from the dance and music scene as well as people who want to express themselves through their music or movement. The audience is welcome to actively participate or make themselves comfortable as spectators on the sidelines. You can expect a guided evening with a mix of spontaneous improvisations of music and dance - everything can, nothing must.
Comfortable clothing and socks are an advantage and ensure the right groove. Please register by sending an email to Tanzcompagnie.VTR(at)rostock.de.
Welcome to Late Night Groove, an ImproJam evening by the Tanzcompagnie des Volkstheaters Rostock.
For the English version please click here.
Late Night Groove strengthens the connection between all artists and audience members and stands as a symbol for peace, friendship and freedom!
You have the chance to take part and participate in the evening in three different ways:
- As a musician: Would you like to contribute your musical talent? Then simply bring your instrument and be an active part of the evening. If you need equipment such as an amplifier or a microphone, please let us know in advance (contact by e-mail: tanzcompagnie.vtr(at)rostock.de). Please be there one hour before the start so that the technical set-up can take place.
- as a dancer: You want to show your moves and let your own body speak? Then come in comfortable clothes in which you feel good and can move. You are welcome to join us from one hour before the start or at the entrance with the audience. Registration: tanzcompagnie.vtr(at)rostock.de.
- As a spectator: You just want to watch, cheer and be there? Then make yourself comfortable on a seat cushion and enjoy the show!
General information:
Please always remember that the Late Night Groove is all about mutual exchange and that respectful and safe interaction has top priority. The evening will give room for artistic freedom, but we expressly reject discrimination, harassment and violence in any form. Always think of your counterpart!
To ensure that the evening is a great experience for everyone involved and that we have to act in the interests of safety, we will meet at the box office of the Volkstheater Rostock at least 15 minutes before the start of the groove on the evening in question. We will then all go to the ballet hall together. We ask that you keep your voices down when crossing the foyer so that we do not disturb any ongoing performances or concerts.
When entering the ballet hall, all participants must take their shoes off!
If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to contact us by email at: tanzcompagnie.vtr(at)rostock.de
We look forward to seeing you!
