An exhibition that invites you to daydream in the Sparkasse Mecklenburg-Strelitz
The new exhibition in the gallery of Sparkasse Mecklenburg-Strelitz invites you to take a walk through our region: Simone Butz shows the beauty of this region in her works. In 29 works, she encourages the viewer to put everyday life aside and go out into nature to see, marvel and enjoy. She herself is drawn out at any time of year to capture moods, shapes and textures on canvas. The result is places of peace and beauty that now invite you to daydream in the middle of Neustrelitz. Born in Dresden, she received her artistic training at Dimitrij Schrubin's academic painting school in Berlin. While Simone Butz commuted between Berlin and Koldenhof near Feldberg for several years, she has now made her home in the Feldberg lake district. Here she is currently working on a series of landscapes, village and street views for a high-tech company.
For more than 30 years, the Sparkasse's exhibitions have demonstrated the creative potential of our region. Since then, well over 100 exhibitions have attracted art connoisseurs and art lovers to the bank's gallery. And the new exhibition follows in this tradition. Paintings by Simone Butz can currently also be seen in the Triebkendorf Tenzo and from January 2025 in the Neustrelitz Tageswerk. The artist's works can be seen in the gallery at the Sparkasse headquarters in Neustrelitz, Strelitzer Straße 27, until January 10, 2025.
