Karsten Kaie
With his updated program of lies, the cabaret artist has hit the nerve of the times. Scurrilous and obsessed with detail, he dissects the lies of our society. With a high Trump factor, original fake news and ingenious ideas, he subtly takes aim at political and everyday hypocrisies, exposes the methods and tricks of successful liars and introduces us to the fine art of professional lying.
In doing so, he provides answers to questions we have never asked, such as: Was language only given to man to conceal his thoughts? And what do butterflies actually have in their stomachs when they are in love?
Karsten Kaie learned to lie professionally at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York and in over twenty years on stage. In addition to his signature role as "Caveman", his solo programs "Ne Million ist so schnell weg" and "Lügen, aber ehrlich" have been thrilling a huge fan base for years. It goes without saying that he is also highly talented, incredibly attractive and has absolute pitch. When he's not jetting around the world on a mission for world peace, he's fully occupied with keeping his edifices of lies from collapsing.
