A credo
Raphael Alpermann, harpsichordist and organist at the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, has repeatedly and intensively studied Bach's works. For the "Christus Oratorio", he formed a cycle of six newly composed cantatas from various vocal and instrumental works by Bach.
The "Credo" from the Mass in B minor forms the musical and theological framework. Along the life and work of Jesus from his birth to his death and resurrection, some of Bach's most magnificent compositions are heard in an unusual juxtaposition. An invitation to experience Bach's music in a completely new way.
