BAD DOBERAN. On August 2, 2025, the Rotary Club Kühlungsborn - Bad Doberan is organizing the traditional jazz picnic in the Bachgarten at the cathedral.
The "Doktor Jazz Ambulanz" has been one of the leading European jazz formations for many years.
From 3.30 p.m. you can make yourself comfortable on your own picnic blankets on the lawn in the Bachgarten, with a view of Doberan Minster. The opening act will be "NepTunes", a young band consisting of 5 musicians who emerged from a school band. Stylistically, they are oriented towards R&B, soul and pop, playing covers of timeless classics in their own interpretation.
The physical well-being
Barbecue specialties and drinks will be provided. This benefit concert serves to support cultural and social projects, in particular
projects for children and young people in the region.
Net proceeds from the food and drinks sold will go to these projects. Admission is free
Voluntary donations for the good cause are very welcome.
This charitable jazz event is organized by the Rotary Club Kühlungsborn-Bad Doberan Förderverein e.V., with the support of the Inner Wheel Club Heiligendamm and the town of Bad Doberan.
