Ivo works as an outpatient palliative care nurse. Every day she drives to different households, to different lives and deaths. The car has become her living space, where she eats her meals, works, sings, swears and dreams. Ivo's friend Solveigh is one of her patients. A close relationship develops between Solveigh's husband and Ivo, eventually leading to an affair. When her friend asks to help her die, Ivo finds himself in a dilemma ...
With matter-of-factness and respect, "Ivo" tells of a world in which death is always on the horizon. About the people who help and have to master their own lives in the process.
