Relaxed lunchtime event with good entertainment and exciting GDR stories including 1 piece of sheet cake and coffee.

In an informal setting, Bernd Brückner, Erich Honecker's last and long-serving bodyguard, talks about his experiences at the side of the former head of state and party leader of the former GDR. Whether on a hunting trip, bathing in the crowd, a military parade or a state visit: Brückner is never missing from a photo. He was responsible for Honecker's security for 13 years. Twenty years after the death of his former boss, Brückner recalls his time at Honecker's side in his book of the same name. And he tells astonishing and unknown stories. Although you might think that everything about Erich Honecker has long since been reported, Brückner surprises you with a lot of new information that was not in the newspapers, books or BStU files: about prevented attacks, embarrassing incidents and the private worries of the Chairman of the State Council.
