In the year of Caspar David Friedrich's death, his 15-year-old son began studying at the Royal Academy of Arts in Dresden. One of his paintings from the collection of the Pomeranian State Museum, Feierabend auf dem Land, was restored there as part of a diploma thesis and is now returning to Greifswald.
