In the anniversary year, special works from the Neubrandenburg Art Collection will be highlighted that deal with the work of Caspar David Friedrich. The most important and particularly impressive work is the 91 x 72 cm LED light box by Hiroyuki Masuyama from 2022/2023, in which he interprets a well-known painting from Greifswald using new media in his characteristic way: "after C. D: Friedrich, Neubrandenburg in the morning mist, 1816/17 No. 03"
