Edible wild plants and their uses with herb collection and herb cooking in the garden kitchen.
It is amazing what edible treasures there are in the forest and meadow. Wild plants used to be used for daily vegetable needs and unfortunately fell into oblivion. However, they contain valuable ingredients that we can use. My concern is to awaken your interest in herbs in your surroundings. Our local wild herbs can complement our food choices, making our diet and everyday cooking more varied and healthy.
During our wild herb walk through meadow and garden we will get to know the individual plants in their flower color, leaf structure, distinctive taste and scent. We'll talk about ways to confuse them, collecting tips, uses, processing and storage.
Enjoy the adventure of gathering these wild herbs and then processing them outdoors into a delicious wild herb menu to enjoy together. Recipes vary depending on the season and availability. If you have been before, feel free to mention it when registering for the recipe selection.
