Europa-Kirchentournee 2024/2025 postponed concert from 16.11.2024
Star guests: actress Barbara Wussow and Franz Lambert and his dream orchestra
HEINO - The great folk singer comes to the concert church in Neubrandenburg on Sunday, 02.02.2025. Classical and sacred melodies
25 concerts in three months
Nowadays, there are hardly any singers that everyone really knows. Heino is the exception. He has been the best-known German folk singer for decades, making him one of Germany's most popular musical ambassadors.
Now the almost 86-year-old bard is going on a major church tour again and has selected the most beautiful sacred songs and dressed them in festive musical garb. "Frieden auf Ewigkeit" is the title of the tour that Heino will take to the concert church in Neubrandenburg for the first time.
Heino's sonorous baritone voice will be heard on the compositions of the greatest composers in music history. Heino has chosen songs that have touched the souls of many people. "Ave Verum Corpus" (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart), "Ave Maria" (Franz Schubert), "Die Himmel rühmen" (Ludwig v. Beethoven), "Guten Abend, gut' Nacht" (Johannes Brahms). The German folk song with traditional songs such as "Kein schöner Land", "Hohe Tannen" and "Teure Heimat" from Guiseppe Verdi's Prisoners' Chorus from "Nabucco" are also a must in this program.
Star guest: The Austrian actress Barbara Wussow (currently the director of the dream ship in the successful ZDF series "Das Traumschiff") will enchant the audience with a short contemplative reading and a few poems. Heino: "I'm delighted that we've managed to get a sought-after actress like Ms. Wussow interested in our tour. I was already a great admirer of her father, Klausjürgen Wussow, and I'm sure our audience will be delighted to have a little reading with her."
Also taking part: organist Franz Lambert (Fifa Hymne). As musical director, Germany's "organ god" will conjure up a veritable tapestry of sound with his "dream orchestra". He will also be heard as a soloist as part of the program.
In Heino's own words: "I'm looking forward to my audience and will show that you can still be in good voice at almost 86 years of age. I'm really looking forward to my concert in the concert church in Neubrandenburg. I've heard a lot about it, but I've never been to Neubrandenburg myself. My audience can look forward to classics from their youth. There will also be folk songs, which of course must not be missing."
