Reading & Talk
Hasnain Kazim gets on his bike to explore the country. What unites people, what divides them? Kazim cycles along the Elbe, Ruhr, Rhine, Main, Neckar and Danube rivers, leaving room for chance. He meets different people and talks to them about their lives in this country: What is actually still allowed to laugh about? What is home?
Some people regularly deny Hasnain Kazim his German identity. When and how do people belong here? What is diversity? Isn't it possible to talk to everyone and overcome divides with benevolence and a willingness to listen?
In search of what holds our country together: A political travelogue
