The current special exhibition in the gallery of the 3 Königinnen Palais on Mirower Schlossinsel presents selected works by Peter Hecht under the title "Augenblicke in Bilder, Skulpturen und Federskizzen". During this guided tour through the special exhibition, the artist himself will explain to all guests details about the creation, materials used and thoughts on his works. The German sculptor, painter and draughtsman has exhibited his compositions throughout Germany as well as in Cameroon and Pakistan. His works combine cultural and historical aspects, symbolism and the character of the animal in sculptures or paintings. Peter Hecht is inspired by sculptures and petroglyphs from America, Asia, Europe and Africa. He prefers to work with as few technical aids as possible. The focus of his art is on the eyes and hands, which create a connection to the character.
