Old bottles/jars are transformed into beautiful new glass containers through hot glass forming.

It is a hot glass workshop with a modern recycling approach that focuses mainly on used glass. The glass workshop is run by skilled glassmaker Olaf Giertz and is based in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
My vision is to produce recycled glass with a sense of quality and thoughtful design. Returned bottles are turned into luxurious glasses in everyday-friendly shapes such as drinking glasses, carafes and vases. It is fun to create something new, based on needs that we encounter in our everyday lives. All products are tried and tested in everyday life.
Due to the special glass composition of bottle glass, my end products are more resistant/durable than crystal glasses, which is an advantage in the dishwasher.
Recycling/upcycling is a matter of course and not just a passing trend.
