A FAIRYTALE DANCE REVUE

"Once upon a time..." - This is how many fairy tales begin, and each one is a precious story in its own right. They are all written down and printed in books.

But in Fairyland itself, there is a special, huge and very lively book of fairy tales, so precious that it must not be left unattended. Heinrich, the keeper of the fairy tale book, keeps all the big and small, the well-known and lesser-known fairy tales alive and makes sure that nothing gets mixed up - because unlike in other books, the figures are not firmly attached to the paper.

This has worked well for centuries. That's why the keeper of the fairytale book can sleep peacefully after his work is done - actually.

A few weeks ago, he took care of a foundling because its father - the evil gray wolf - had absconded. He simply no longer wanted to be the bad guy. So one day Heinrich woke up and found the wolf cub Wildfang on his lap - very sweet and cuddly, but he didn't get his name for nothing.

Will he eat the plum jam from the brave little tailor or shave King Thrushbeard or steal Cinderella's shoe? Yes, but that's just the back story!

No matter which page Wildfang turns to, he causes the most beautiful confusion and Heinrich has to try to bring order back into the colorful, jumbled fairytale world.

With "Once upon a time...", a dance fairy tale returns to the Deutsche Tanzkompanie's repertoire that appeals to the whole family and proves that fairy tales are anything but old hat.
