Georgia Crandon and band invite you to dance into May. Since her first mainland tour in 2023, the Brit has been a highlight of the Kornhaus program. Georgia comes from Essex, is in her mid-20s and is mainly vocal. In her home country, she has long since conquered the venerable Royal Albert Hall with her distinctive retro swing; since her first tours in 2023, her fan base in Central Europe has been growing rapidly and Scandinavia has recently been added to the packed tour schedule.
Crandon blends several "old school" genres at once, taking her cue from none other than Elvis Presley, Janis Joplin, Billie Holiday and Amy Winehouse. Anyone who places themselves in such a line-up has to deliver. And Georgia does - with a stunning voice, with her own astonishingly thoughtful and poetic lyrics and thanks to first-class accompanying musicians, who discreetly roll out the red carpet of sound for Georgia with electric bass, electric guitar, drums and keyboard.
Admission is €15, €10 for schoolchildren, students and the severely disabled.
