In addition to Mönkemeyer's viola, a Lyra Polyversalis also appears on stage that evening. It looks like a large guitar and can be bowed as well as plucked and strummed. What lutenist Andreas Arend does with it and how it plays together with Nils Mönkemeyer can be wonderfully discovered in the village church of Beidendorf. The concert will include works by VIVALDI and original compositions with which the two exceptional musicians seek a dialog between baroque and jazz as well as songs by JIMI HENDRIX.
