The Golden Egerländer come to Ludwigslust
Hardly any other brass band is as well-known as the Bohemian band. The unmistakable sound embodies the Bohemian way of life and Egerland customs. The sophisticated pieces of music indulge in boundless joie de vivre, but also allow melancholy and nostalgia for the lost homeland to resonate.
The Goldene Egerländer are a real insider tip. Since their foundation, the passionate musicians have been filling halls and concert halls all over Germany. This is particularly due to the enormous quality of the orchestra and their music. No wonder, as the professional musicians play or have played in Bundeswehr or police orchestras throughout Germany, such as the Bundeswehr Staff Music Corps, the Berlin Federal Police Orchestra and the former Berlin Air Force Music Corps.
Since October 2022, the Golden Egerländer have been led by Edi Sagert, former musician with Ernst Mosch and former leader of the Original Kapelle Egerland.
With an entertaining, authentic and spirited style, but also with a lot of feeling, the orchestra performs on stage and, how could it be otherwise, of course in their original Egerländer costume.
As with the motto "Favorite melodies from the Egerland", the focus of the musical performances is also on the interpretation of the most beautiful Egerland sounds, naturally also by ERNST MOSCH and his Original Egerländer Musikanten. When, for example, the "Rauschende Birken" is played, the audience sings along to "Wir sind Kinder von der Eger" or the "Böhmische Wind" blows softly through the concert hall, every fan of Egerland brass music gets their money's worth.
