The duo FRIEND 'N FELLOW will delight audiences at the Kunsthalle on October 10 with a fantastic mix of guitar and vocals.
FRIEND `N FELLOW - "Silver Tour"
Last year there was a premiere: a first, acclaimed performance by the wonderful tandem FRIEND `N FELLOW in the Kunsthalle Kühlungsborn. And that's why the "da capo" will follow this year.
And there is also an anniversary to celebrate in 2016. The duo FRIEND 'N FELLOW can look back on 25 years of music together. Very successful ones, mind you!
And during this time, they must have played 12 ½ times on the Baltic coast.
A lot has happened since 1991, when it all began with a concert in Leipzig: tours throughout Europe, Asia and the USA; 10 CDs and over 100,000 records sold; evenings with Ray Charles, Al Jarreau and Luther Allison; music for boxing events and Formula 1 teams....
But much more than this, it is the intimate, unique, touching moments of a live concert by the two of them. Depth, class and entertainment - and a focus on the essence of good songs.
And so their current album Silver Live offers a whole hour of pure Friend `n Fellow - recorded up close and intensively during their About April Tour 2015 (including at the Kunsthalle).
For the "Silver Tour" 2016 they will present a "Best Of" program with hand-picked songs from each of their CDs.
